The Carleton University Prestige Scholarships 2027 are among the highest-value entrance scholarships offered by Carleton University in Canada for outstanding students entering their first undergraduate programme directly from high school or CÉGEP. The 2027–2028 Prestige Scholarships include the Chancellor’s Scholarship, Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship, Carleton University Scholarship of Excellence, Carleton University SHAD Scholarship, Jay Woo and CAA Scholarship, and Riordon Scholarship. Award values range from $20,000 to $32,000 over four years, while the Riordon Scholarship provides full tuition for four years. Applicants must have an admission average of at least 90% and demonstrate strong involvement in community, leadership and extracurricular activities throughout secondary school. Students who have previously attended a college or university are not eligible and must be pursuing post-secondary education for the first time. The scholarships are renewable when recipients maintain an annual GPA of 10.0 (A- standing) in full-time studies. A separate application and reference letter are required. The 2027–2028 application opens in October 2026, with applications due by March 1, 2027.

Prestige Scholarship recipients are expected to demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and meaningful involvement in their school or community. Selection considers both academic achievement and the breadth of extracurricular activities throughout secondary school. Scholars must also maintain the required academic standing to renew their award.
