The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Scholarships 2027 are prestigious European Union-funded scholarships for outstanding international students who want to pursue a joint Master's degree through an international consortium of universities. Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters involve at least three higher education institutions from three different countries, giving students the opportunity to study in multiple countries during their degree. Selected scholarship holders receive full participation cost coverage and financial support for travel, visa, installation and living expenses. The current EU funding rules calculate the scholarship at €1,400 per month for the eligible duration of the Master's programme, which can be 12, 18 or 24 months. Applicants from around the world can apply directly to their chosen Erasmus Mundus programme. A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent recognised level of learning, is required before the Master's programme begins. Each individual programme establishes its own admission criteria, language requirements, application procedure and scholarship deadline. For programmes starting in 2027, most applications are expected to be submitted between October 2026 and January 2027, although the exact deadline varies by programme. The 2026 selection added new Erasmus Mundus Masters that will open applications in autumn 2026 for programmes beginning in September 2027.
