HBKU graduate financial support may include tuition waivers and monthly stipends, depending on the programme, student status, merit or financial need and availability of funds. Current university guidelines show tuition waivers ranging from partial to full depending on the programme, while selected international graduate students may receive monthly stipends. For the current published stipend structure, international PhD students may receive QAR9000 per month, while international Master’s students may receive QAR7000 per month, subject to the applicable scholarship conditions and availability of funding. International students receiving a stipend are also provided with a round-trip airfare during their candidature. The official HBKU admissions calendar lists 1 February 2027 as the application deadline for international graduate applicants. Applicants must meet the academic, English-language and programme-specific admission requirements. Scholarship awards are not automatically guaranteed to every admitted student.
