Yenching Academy Scholarship 2027 at Peking University offers outstanding students the opportunity to pursue a two-year Master of China Studies in Beijing. The programme is designed around interdisciplinary study of China and combines academic coursework, research, field study and cultural engagement. The Academy welcomes applicants from around the world and aims to develop young scholars and future leaders with an interest in China and global affairs. For the 2027 international admission cycle, applications open on 1 September 2026 and close on 30 November 2026 at 9:00 AM Beijing Time. Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or be current undergraduate students who will obtain their Bachelor's degree by August of the intended enrollment year. Strong academic performance, interdisciplinary interests, interest in China-related research, extracurricular involvement and leadership potential are considered. The Yenching Scholarship provides full scholarship support, including tuition, accommodation, a living and academic allowance, a one-time round-trip travel allowance, and field study course expenses. The programme is conducted primarily in English. Applicants normally need IELTS Academic 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100, Cambridge English 185, or another accepted qualification. Certain international applicants may receive an English-test exemption if they are native English speakers or graduated from an entirely English-taught degree programme.
