The Maastricht University NL-High Potential Scholarship 2027/2028 offers 18 full scholarships to highly talented international students from outside the EU/EEA who have been admitted to a participating full-time Master's programme at Maastricht University. The scholarship combines the High Potential Scholarship with the NL Scholarship and provides comprehensive financial support for eligible students. Successful recipients receive tuition fees covered at cost, €20150 living expenses for a 13-month programme or €38750 for a 25-month programme, and €700 for health and liability insurance. The scholarship also covers visa application costs, pre-academic training costs, and the first block of the International Student Ambassador Programme at cost. A mandatory accommodation arrangement is included during the first year. The scholarship application period for the 2027/2028 academic year runs from October 1, 2026 to February 1, 2027 at 23:59 CET. Applicants must complete their Master's programme admission application by December 10, 2026. Applicants must be non-EU/EEA nationals, be 35 or younger on September 1, 2027, have a GPA of at least 7.5 out of 10, and meet the admission requirements of their selected participating Master's programme.
